Introduction

The following schedule-table provides a weekly break down of topics, readings, and assignments for ID 247.  It is meant to compliment the syllabus and Canvas. The same dates and sections are used in both places. (If any dates need to be adjusted to accommodate student learning, or NAU announcements, students will be notified in a timely manner via course announcements in Canvas).

Each week you will find the following categories: Dates, Readings, Topics, Action Items, Presentations available in BB, and Deadlines.  This is what you can expect to find in each category:

  • Week Dates – this online course will run from Wednesdays thru Tuesdays. All new course content for the week will be released on Wednesdays during the semester, and all due dates will occur on the following Tuesday, except the midterm. Due to Spring Break and the submission of Midterm Grades, the Midterm will be due on a Sunday.  See Week 8 in the table for details. The dates listed correlate to the Wednesday – Tuesday workflow.

  • Readings – assigned for the week.

  • Topics – covered during the week.

  • Action Items – this list identifies your tasks for the week.  It is a comprehensive list of the activities you must complete during the week to succeed in the course.

  • Presentations available in Canvas – students will give presentations each week on assigned topics.  Each presentation will complement the sequence of topics and readings and will be presented during that week in Canvas for the class to watch.  See: Student Presentation Guidelines for more information.

  • Deadlines – this shows what is due each week with the deadline.  The cycle of assignments for the course runs weekly from Tuesday thru Tuesday.  All weekly content will be released on Wednesdays, and assignments are due the following Tuesdays by 11:59 pm.  Students will have the ability to work ahead on certain assignments as the course progresses.

NOTE:
