Sketchbook

Sketchbook – (total: 10) assignments focus on free-hand drawing skills, and emphasis the practice of keeping a sketchbook as part of the design process. These together constitute 15% of the final grade for the course.

Exercises

Exercises – (total: 4) teach the basic concepts/practices needed to complete the assignment Sheets (see next category). They include lessons in using drafting tools, measuring, and learning plotted perspective. These together constitute 15% of the final grade for the course.

Sheets

Sheets – (total: 9) constitute a complete Schematic/Construction Document Set (Binder) for a small residence, which is the major studio work for ID121.  These sheets together constitute 50% of the final grade for the course.
